This year’s categories are:

Category 1 – CCUS
We are looking for entries that demonstrate how they are pushing the boundaries of carbon capture technology and can show a clear vision for how their solution can evolve to commercial scale. We want to see how they overcome the commercial and technical challenges and what sets them apart from the competition.

Category 2 – Decarbonizing Industrial Heat and Electrification
We are looking innovative, efficient and viable solutions that have real world applications for energy intensive sectors. Entries must demonstrate both novelty of the solution, the application and business model.

Category 3 – Alternative Fuels including Hydrogen
This award is open to those who are working in any aspect of the value chain to support the switch away from fossil-based fuels and can demonstrate their real-world application.

Category 4 – Individual Rising Star Award
This award is to recognise a specific person, under the age of 30, who has made significant  contributions to industrial decarbonization either through academic, research, product development or from working within a company in the energy-intensive sectors. The winner will show entrepreneurial spirit, resilience and passion through their work.
